Norfolk is home to an incredible diversity of fungi, with over 4,000 species recorded by generations of dedicated mycologists. In this fascinating talk, Tony Leech, County Fungus Recorder for Norfolk and Chair of the Norfolk and Norwich Naturalists’ Society, will share some of the county’s more unusual and intriguing fungal discoveries — along with the surprising stories behind them. Tony works closely with the Norfolk Fungus Study Group, recording fungi from across the region. Whether you're a seasoned naturalist or simply curious, this talk promises to open your eyes to the hidden world of fungi in Norfolk.
