About the event

This workshop will be an introduction to the dragonflies and damselflies of Norfolk, looking in particular at species likely to be found in north Norfolk with Dr Pam Taylor, Norfolk Dragonfly Recorder. The event will include both indoor and fieldwork elements, looking at the identification, life cycles and habitats of these striking carnivorous invertebrates.

No dogs permitted on the reserve. Visitors with dogs can walk Beach Road, along the shingle bank (northern reserve boundary) and East bank.

Please be advised to take caution when walking on a site with open water and ensure that you always remain on the designated paths. Biting insects can be present at certain times of the year and you may choose to apply insect repellent as a precaution. In warmer weather, you may wish to bring a hat, sun cream and water.
