LIVE Camera at Weeting Heath

This live camera is currently showing views from NWT Weeting Heath.

The eggs from the stone curlew nest at Weeting Heath were sadly predated by a fox. We had already realised that eggs were addled, meaning that one of the parent birds was infertile. Our warden had noted that the hatching date had passed and so, under a special licence, weighed the eggs and confirmed their still-liquid state. The same pair have now layed again and are sitting on two more eggs.

We have uploaded some clips from 2018, all footage copyright Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
