About the event

Are you aged between 11-17? This group is for young people who are interested in the natural world, wanting to gain skills in natural history, help the environment, use their creativity, spend time at one of the UK's foremost nature reserves and make new friends! We meet every other month (plus some extra workshops).

Love nature? Just want to get outdoors and try something new? This month we are doing willow weaving.

We’re super excited to welcome Rich a willow sculpturer and weaver whose work is centred around wildlife. Willow weaving is an ancient craft that dates back thousands of years and is an amazing natural, traditional skill. In this session we will be weaving a simple bird. All materials supplied and step by step guidance given.

This session will be in the education centre . Further joining details will be sent during the week before the event.
