Natural inspiration for your school

Our reserve sessions are linked into the National Curriculum and can be tailored to most key stages and abilities. Each session is approximately an hour so you can choose a range of session to tailor a day which compliments your pupils learning objectives.

Reserve sessions are delivered mainly at NWT Ranworth Broad, NWT Hickling, NWT Cley Marshes and NWT Holmes Dunes (We can offer session at other NWT reserves please ask when enquiring) We also teach at West Runton Beach . Pupils will be split into groups and rotated around the chosen sessions. Click on the sessions below for more information about age suitability, learning outcomes and location for each session. Each session cost £3 + VAT per pupil, per activity (£4 + VAT for boat trips) 

We welcome self-guided groups on our reserves but request that they make a booking with us. We charge £1.30 + VAT per student for nature reserve entry and in return provide a teachers’ pack for the reserve which includes risk assessments, to support your visit.

Self-guided coach visits to Cley Marshes beach cost £18 for full day parking, £10 for half day parking. Please note parking is free when visiting the beach when accompanied by NWT Education Officers and taking part in sessions at the reserve.

 

Cost

Each session cost £3 per pupil, per activity.
Please see below for our minimum charges:
One NWT Education Officer for half a day is £120 + VAT, for a full day is £200 + VAT
Two NWT Education Officers for half a day is £220 + VAT, for a full day is £295 + VAT
