Blakeney Point for plants, butterflies and birds

Saturday 13 July, 2024
Naturalist and conservationist Richard Porter will lead a walk along the shingle bank towards Blakeney Point, to look for the characteristic plants of the shore and saltmarsh, and butterflies.  We will also take the opportunity to look at the nesting birds and the conservation efforts to protect them.  Stout shoes are essential.
Walk length 3 miles, fairly easy, mainly on shingle.   We regret that we cannot accommodate dogs on this walk.
