Norfolk Commons Week - Family event: Marvellous minibeasts
Saturday 29 June, 2024
Discovering NWT Thompson Common
We kick off Norfolk commons week with the opportunity to discover the wildlife of NWT Thompson Common (which actually, is a common in name only – but more about that later). The following event is one of several events taking place on this day and is part of the
Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape Partnership (National Lottery Heritage Fund)
Marvellous minibeasts
Join us as we forage among the foliage and take a dip within the sedge for any minibeast which may be waiting. We’ll be there with our bits and bobs to catch any bug or beast for a closer inspection.
Each family group must have at least one adult attending. Accompanying adults do not need to book a ticket.
Please note - there are no toilet facilities but one portaloo will be available.
