Want to know why Iolo Williams, wildlife expert and BBC Springwatch presenter has dubbed the new guidebook Photographing Wildlife in the UK, as the wildlife photographer’s bible? Join the author Andrew Marshall for an evening [Thursday 23 February] at Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s Cley Marshes

Taking place at Cley Marshes’ purpose-built education building, the Simon Aspinall Wildlife Education Centre, with supper at 7pm followed by a talk at 7.45pm, this illustrated photography talk will offer insight to the experiences of creating and making the wildlife photography guidebook Photographing Wildlife in the UK.

Speaker and author Andrew Marshall, is a garden designer and wildlife photographer. He has spent the last three years travelling the length and breadth of the UK with his camera finding the best locations to take photographs of British wildlife. His new photo-location guidebook (on sale in the centre) includes information on how to approach wildlife and take great wildlife photographs; camera and lens choice; camera settings and field craft, plus tips on garden wildlife photography.

On-site parking is free. For NWT members a charge of £10 applies, and £12 for non-members (includes supper).

Iolo Williams, wildlife expert and BBC Springwatch presenter said, ‘Photographing Wildlife in the UK describes 70 of the best wildlife spots from the northernmost tip of Shetland down to Brownsea Island and from Skomer in West Wales across to Norfolk in the east. This guidebook will prove invaluable to beginners and experienced wildlife photographers alike.’
