Terms and conditions of sale, please read carefully
These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, by email, telephone or by post with Norfolk Wildlife Trust. Please read carefully before placing an order. Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect your statutory rights. If you have any suggestions or comments please email us at email@example.com.
On submission of your order you are allowing Norfolk Wildlife Trust to use your personal details to fulfil that order. In the event that there is a problem, we will communicate with you via email, telephone or letter.
Norfolk Wildlife Trust is registered as the Norfolk Naturalists Trust in England, (Charity no 208734). Head office: Bewick House, 22 Thorpe Road, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 1RY.
In this statement, references to 'we', 'us' or 'NWT' are to Norfolk Wildlife Trust charity and its trading company. This privacy statement covers the Norfolk Wildlife Trust website at www.norfolkwildlifetrust.org.uk. Where links are provided to other websites, they are not covered by this statement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password with these third parties.
We are pleased to accept orders from mainland United Kingdom. All orders will be charged when they are placed. If you would like to cancel or amend your order a full refund will be given for the unwanted products. We do not normally process orders which originate outside the U.K, nor deliver to addresses that are outside of the U.K. or P.O. boxes, but in special cases please contact us on 01603 625540.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch and Solo but cannot process American Express or swipe only cards such as Electron. If the card issuer refuses to authorise payment we will not be liable for any delay and/or non-delivery of the order. No orders will be accepted without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder and its registered address. Cheques/postal orders must be made payable to Norfolk Wildlife Trust. We reserve the right to hold goods until the cheque/postal order has cleared. Therefore please be aware that we do not dispatch goods within 5 working days if payment is via cheque/postal order.
To Cancel a Current Order: If for whatever reason you wish to cancel your order or part order with Norfolk Wildlife Trust you must email: firstname.lastname@example.org. We will ensure your request is processed quickly, however please be aware that during busy periods refunds can take 14 working days.
Damaged Items And Delivery Mistakes: In the event of any goods being delivered faulty, damaged in transit or incorrect according to the delivery note/invoice then we must be notified within 5 working days of receipt. If we receive no notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery. Liability in those cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown not to have been received by the customer. We are unable to refund any postage costs unless the item was sent in error or damaged upon delivery, in these cases the credit card used will be credited with the current price of postage according to Royal Mail's tariff.
Should you be less than happy with any item you buy from us, we will be pleased to offer you a replacement or a full refund, if you let us know within 5 working days. (This excludes membership, donations and sponsorships.) If you wish to return an item you may do so within 30 days. To return a non-faulty item the product must be in its original condition, packaging and with the original labels attached and a copy of the invoice. Once an item has been worn or used we will be unable to refund or exchange unless the item is found to have a fault. Should an item be returned with no fault but in a used condition we will return it to the customer.
In the event of wanting to return a non-faulty item please enclose a letter including your name, address, order number and product that you are returning with your reason for return and what you'd like to be done once we receive it.
You will be refunded as soon as possible after we receive the goods and upon inspection to ensure they are in their original condition.
We aim to deliver your order within two to three working days. Memberships and Sponsorships may take up to five working days. Should there be any delay we will contact you. We delivery via Royal Mail and cannot guarantee delivery times.
Post and packaging charges:
• Orders over £100 = FREE
• Orders under £100 = £3.50 per order. (Mainland UK only; for orders to other destinations please contact us before placing your order.)
You can have the goods delivered to any address within the UK, but we reserve the right to deliver the goods to the cardholder's address.
Distance selling regulations: As a mail order customer you have the right to cancel any item within 7 days of delivery provided they are in new and unused condition with original packaging and receipt. Items used or without the original packaging will be deemed to have been accepted by you and therefore cannot be returned unless faulty. To cancel an item please call or e-mail us email@example.com
Availability: Although we make every effort to ensure that we have stock we cannot guarantee that every item on the online shop is in stock and available for immediate dispatch. Should products be out of stock we will endeavour to inform you within three working days.
Prices: All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and include UK VAT at standard rate unless indicated otherwise. All prices are subject to change without prior notification.
Price and print errors: Whilst we make every effort to ensure that all details published are correct no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions. We reserve the right to alter specifications and prices without notice. If we deem any price to be incorrect we reserve the right to refuse a sale in this situation.
Guarantee and Faulty Items: All products are guaranteed for a minimum of twelve months (unless otherwise stated) from the original date of invoice against failure to provide reasonable wear due to defective workmanship or materials so long as the product was used for its intended purpose. This guarantee excludes damage caused by accident, neglect or misuse (i.e. use for other than intended purpose of item). Proof of purchase is necessary.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. In accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act passed into law 11 Dec 2003) - "We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam) and we also conform with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 1998". We also DO NOT sell or pass details of orders or personal details to any other company.
If you are a UK tax payer, you will enable us to reclaim tax you have already paid on your membership, donations or sponsor a species (currently 28p per £1) by declaring on your order. Please contact us if you would like any further information about Gift Aid.
