Norfolk Wildlife Trust and Pensthorpe Natural Park have teamed up to offer a special deal this spring. Pick up a Norfolk Wildlife Saver card from any NWT visitor centre or from Pensthorpe Natural Park and start exploring!
The Norfolk Wildlife Saver card gives entry to any two Norfolk Wildlife Trust nature reserves where there is an entry charge AND Pensthorpe Natural Park for just £15 this spring, plus your money back if you decide to join either charity. It runs for three months – 25 March to 30 June – during NWT’s special 90th anniversary year.
Norfolk Wildlife Trust charges an entry cost at four of its nature reserves for non-members:
Cley Marshes on the north Norfolk coast, which is the oldest of all the wildlife trust reserves in the UK and legendary for birding;
Hickling Broad, the largest of the Norfolk Broads and home to swallowtail butterflies and marsh harriers;
Holme Dunes on the coast with its beautiful beach and marshes; and
Weeting Heath in the Brecks, where the stone curlews can be seen nesting on the open heathland. Entry costs range from £4.25 to £5 gift aided admission for adults, free entry for children.
Pensthorpe Natural Park in the Wensum Valley mixes nature trails, woodland walks, beautiful gardens, WildRootz outdoor adventure play and Hootz House, an epic indoor adventure. It usually costs £10.95 for adults and £9.95 for children.
Head of Development at Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Nik Khandpur said: “We are delighted to have Pensthorpe supporting us this year as Anniversary Champions. The Trust’s 90th anniversary has given us a very good reason for working together and the Norfolk Wildlife Saver will hopefully encourage more people to discover Norfolk’s beautiful nature reserves for the first time.”
Pensthorpe owner, Bill Jordan said: ““The Norfolk Wildlife Saver is a great way for new supporters of Norfolk’s wonderful countryside and NWT’s long heritage to enjoy three of its most beautiful and inspiring reserves.”
