Red-tailed Bumblebee, David North

Recording Norfolk’s wildlife is an important way to monitor what is happening to species in our county.

The list below consists of animals and plants that are of particular interest to Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the Norfolk Biodiversity Information Service. This may be because we know they are declining in Norfolk, or their habitat is disappearing or they are an indicator of climate change.

You don’t have to be an expert to send in a wildlife record. There are thousands of people living in Norfolk - this means there are thousands of pairs of eyes and ears to help us keep track of Norfolk’s wildlife by sending in wildlife records.

Please only submit records where there is no possible doubt about the identity of the species. Scroll through the list and if or when you have seen the animal or plant then let us know by completing your record online.Badger, photo WilldStock
