Gift Aid
Please consider Gift Aid! If you are a UK tax payer and complete a Gift Aid Declaration, you will enable us to reclaim tax you have already paid on your membership and donations. By completing the form you agree:
“I would like to Gift Aid all subscriptions and donations I make from the date of this declaration, until I notify you otherwise. I would also like Norfolk Wildlife Trust to reclaim tax for the subscriptions and donations I have made in the 6 years prior to this date.”
Notes on Gift Aid:
- You can cancel this declaration at any time by notifying Norfolk Wildlife Trust
- You must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the tax that NWT reclaims on your donations in the tax year (currently 28p for each £1 you give)
- If your circumstances change in the future and you no longer pay tax on your income and capital gains equal to the tax that NWT reclaims, you can cancel your declaration
- If you pay tax at the higher rate you can claim further tax relief in your Self Assessment tax return
- If you are unsure whether your donations qualify for Gift Aid tax relief please ask your local tax office for leaflet IR65
- Please notify us if you change your name or address
