NWT Hickling Broad
NWT Hickling Broad is the largest of all the Norfolk Broads, and
it harbours a spectacular variety of plants and animals. There are
both gentle walks under wide skies for the casual visitor, and fascinating
study for those interested in swallowtail butterflies, bitterns,
marsh harriers and other rare Broadland wildlife. The two hour Water
Trail runs from mid-May to mid-September, takes you into the quiet
backwaters of the Broad and gives access to the Tree Tower, from
which you get the most fabulous views of Broadland. Additional charge.
