When to see - November
In Norfolk there is always something to see and do in the countryside, and November is no exception. Watch thousands of geese arrive from their breeding grounds, look out for young seal pups being born or even just step out into your garden to see amazing, intricate cob webs decorating your flower-beds.
What to see in November
The best viewpoints to see geese flying in and out of traditional roosts at dawn and dusk are at Snettisham and Brancaster and Wells next the Sea in North Norfolk. Sunset or sunrise between November and February are the best times to view big numbers. The fields either side of Lady Ann’s Drive at Holkham are excellent places to view big numbers of geese during the day and as well as pink-footed geese you are likely to see Brent geese, grey lag geese, Canada geese and white-fronted geese.

Where to go in November
Regular sightings of Chinese water deer are made at both NWT Hickling Broad and NWT Upton Broad and Marshes. November and December are the height of the rutting season with frequent fights between bucks using their tusks.
Things to do in November
Create a feeding station for birds - different birds will choose to use different feeders – so variety is the answer.
