Volunteer Education and Community Events Assistant – Bewick House, Norwich
This is a fantastic new opportunity to work alongside the education team at Norfolk Wildlife Trust, helping to inspire people about Norfolk’s wildlife and wild spaces. If you are passionate about wildlife and want to get more experience in environmental education this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We are ideally looking for someone on a 4-6 month placement and during this time you will work with the team all around Norfolk both in Schools and at community events. Visitor Centre Volunteers - Various locations
We are looking for volunteers to assist the Centre Coordinator with all day to day visitor centre activities in a range of fabulous locations. Most of our Centres open daily from Easter to October 10am-5pm and volunteers work on a rota system to suit availability and the needs of each Centre. Volunteer Assistant Warden - NWT Cley Marshes
We require an Assistant Warden one or two days per week to help the Warden with the management of NWT Cley Marshes and its many visitors. Situated on the stunning North Norfolk coast, Cley Marshes was NWT's first nature reserve and the award-winning Visitor Centre, with café and shop, attracts high numbers of visitors wanting to learn more about wildlife, particularly birdlife.
The role is very varied and includes habitat management, Visitor Centre maintenance and assisting the Warden with guided walks.
