This Wildlife Watch event will bring the history of the Victorian herring curing industry to life with gripping tales of life at sea and the chance to explore the smokehouses!

A grant of over £45,000 has been awarded to Norfolk Wildlife Trust (NWT) by SITA Trust to enable essential management work in Norfolk’s largest ancient woodland. The money will be used over the next two years to develop innovative equipment and to continue essential coppicing at NWT Foxley Wood.

Photographer Mike McFarlane’s epic 5,903 mile cycle ride around the UK has provided an exhaustive – and exhausting – picture of The Wildlife Trusts’ campaign for Living Landscapes. Two of Norfolk Wildlife Trust landscape schemes feature in these remarkable series of audio-visual tours.
